Alhamdulillah I am very glad that I pursued what I was interested in. Almost everyone tried to change my decision since there were not many girls pursuing Software Engineering as career and talking about KSA, 6 years back there were also very few opportunities for ladies in workplace and now its a totally different story. I believe if you do something that you are passionate about then you are willing to go the extra mile to create a path to success. 🙂
That is great that you insisted on following your dreams, inspite of not having any support. Not everyone is able to withstand the pressure they feel, and/or sometimes just having to make a living, or having commitments to family. I also believe happiness is found when we do what we love. Passion is the light in a darkened world.
My skill level lol
😂this is definitely me …..
I love to communicate, assist and help people. I would have loved to be a tourist guide . History , Geography, Archaeology are my passions. This way I could have used the 5 Foreign languages I speak .Actually I could have been a professional athlete if I hadn’t stopped my career in my early 20. I also love arts and music. I ended up pursuing the profession that gives me satisfaction and rewards, motherhood.
Mashallah Tabarakallah, OH, you have one of skills I wish I would have. I’d love to be able to speak many languages. Communication skills are an excellent way to understanding different cultures. Oh and sports…. I used to love tennis, and imagined that I would be professional one day. But Geography, Archaeology…. hum… never! lol
